Hmm...2 weekends ago we headed (Matthew even got to go this time!) to Pasadena to celabrate Karsyb turning 3 with some of our family. We made a stop through Wharton on the way there to see Grandma and Pappa and let Kegan get some sillies out. What a better place to run off those car sitting jitters than at the country with the cows!
Kegan saying Hi to Grandma
Ready to go give the baby calf her bottle
This one is the best I could get of all four of them (Matthew, Kegan, Papa and Ty)
but I love Ty's smile in this one :)
We got into Pasadene, in some very rainy stormy weather, that evening and after dinner and visiting time with Meme the two boys headed off to bed. Around 11ish or so Popa, Grams, Aunt Wendy, Uncle Nolan and Karsyn finally got in. Poor Karsyn, she came running to me and I picked her up giving her a big hug, thinking she was excited to see me...no no...she looked at me and said, "Where is Kegan?" - well I guess I know where I stand...hehe. Anyways, they had to wait till Saturday morning to see eachother...and well, here are our 2 peas in a pod.
Playing toys
Being...well...as they usually are....silly
I love this picture, she is just sticking her hand out, not even looking up, like, excuse me, just hand me that piece
sharing the puzzle
two friends ready for a swim
check out Kegan's face in these next 2 - a little less than angelic...haha...
Ty, enjoying LOTS of toys...
Woo hoo...the moon bounce arrived....let's go jump...
...and not even 5 minutes later.... (no one was hurt and with in a hug and kiss second later...they were back to happy kids running and jumping around...

I love this pictures of my dad and Ty! :)
Silly birthday girl

So SWEET!
Princess Birthday Girl
Some have said Ty looks like my Pappa...what do you think??? Definitly in the no hair department I see it...hehe...
Is our birthday girl ready for cake?
Can you see what they are watching on TV? Here is a hint if you know my dad - it is something he loves - fishing....yes, Kegan sat there, INTENTLY watching a fishing show with my dad - for the duration of the show. Kegan seems to just be a guy of many interest...on all ends of the spectrum. Wonder if he picked up any pointers?
Saturday night, Matthew, Kegan and Popa went to a Houston Astros game. According to Matthew Kegan was amazed by the size of the stadium...and did very well at watching the game (even from this far away)
Popa, Kegan and Matthew
They had met one of Matthew's friend's from college and his family there.
Kegan and their daughter
Telling Grams all about it
Like I said...interest at all ends of the spectrum (doesn't he look like he is really trying to figure out how it is all working..haha)
Sunday we headed back home and got to stop by Grandma and Pappa's again - this time for Sunday lunch - yumm!
I know I will treasure the 2 pictures below for ever - so sweet.
Matthew, Ty, Kegan and Pappa (I love how Kegan and Pappa are looking at each other and laughing about something)
Well, at least the older 2 are looking...haha...
Just some other random pictures....which I did not get to finish putting them all up b/c blogger was telling me I had met my quota for pictures (WHAT????) I will have to look more into this and post some more pictures later.
Grr....(He was not to sure about "standing" against the chair)
haha...love this face! :)
Grams...he loves this blanket!
Ty got enthrawled with the carpet...I guess the texture was interesting to him
Hey....stop taking pictures of me!
Ty is getting some hair on top!
push-ups...
oh...so sad....
Like I said, I am going to have to see what this "picture limit" is all about b/c there are tons more to post!
Funny story:
We were driving through Calallen the other night and passed the football field where the HS boys were practicing. Matthew and I said something about football and Kegan playing one day and from the back seat Kegan says, "No. I play baseball!" - said with much opinon and ...haha...Well, ok...so there ya go...Kegan prefers baseball, I guess. (Fine by me, no tackeling in baseball).
Ty
He istarting to sit very well by himself and seems to enjoy being up right. When he is reclined he constantly tries to pull himself up to sitting.
I think he is going to roll from his back to his stomach any day now. The past 2 days he has rolled ALMOST over (a numver of times)- he just needs to move his arm and he will fully flip....so close...so close!!!

You win with a picture of Pappa holding a baby and giving a full laugh! Not many pictures of Pappa laughing - usually it's just grins.
