Well, this is a little out of order (as the title points to) but it is here...and I am kind-of caught up...minus last Friday to today, and for me, that would be on the "caught up" side of things -ha! I must say, the boys keep me busy and the Lord is doing some exciting things in my life that have kept me busy...sooo...that is where we stand. I am trying to stay on top of this blog, though because these kids keep me laughing and both are growing by leaps and bounds - the new, almost daily excitements/changes/growths/milestones hit by Ty and Kegan, who is becoming such an individual person and becoming into who he is -there is so much to share. I will leave it there, though, and get on some pictures from Memorial Day weekend!
Friday, the boys and I drove up to Wharton to spend some time with Grandma and Pappa, see some family, and pick up my friend Laura, who was riding down with my mom and Karsyn.
Pappa and 2 of his great grandsons
Ok, so next time I want to get a video of these 2 when they see each other for the first time after a while - notice the awkward hug...why??? - they were both squealing and jumping around so much and with so much glee that they could not stop long enough to match up for the hug they both ran to each other to give - too cute!
I thought this was a pretty pictures of little Miss - we love you Karsyn!
Kegan enjoying his time on the swing
A good Pappa going outside with two of his grandkids, while everyone else was doing stuff inside - it was hot! - what a good Pappa :)
Ready Karsyn?
woo hoo - got it Kegan! :)
Saturday
Title: Ty discovers a love for dirt!
Where did dad plop me down?
hmmm...let me see...
oh, come here dirt...
yumm...this is good...
...oh really good...I like this dirt stuff...
Do I have something on my mouth?
Is it still there?
This dirt is good to play with, too! :)
Laura - she was really here on the farm (even drove the tractor). We had a great visit with you!!!!!
I love this picture of my big boy!
One little boy and one big tire!
After driving Laura back up to Wharton and enjoying a good lunch and some more family time, the boys and I headed back to Corpus and that evening got to go to the last Hooks game of the season, with Pampa and Gramma.
Ty enjoying the game...and making lots of cute faces
Pizza crust, anyone? (He really enjoyed it, despite the look on his face)
Don't try to take it out of my mouth, daddy...
The best part of this last game - the fans could go on the field after the game for the fireworks show. (I forgot my camera when Gramma and I took Kegan down on the field - but thank goodness Matthew snapped a few from the stands)
As soon as we stepped foot on the field, Kegan went straight to home plate, took his batting stance and said "Throw me the ball!" - no lie. Do we have baseball player on our hands????
:)
