Last week was very busy, so I am sorry I did not get to right much about the little guy. We had something every night, which is probably why on Friday morning we headed off to the doctor...again. He was up all night Thursday coughing...therefore I was up to...even Matthew woke up a few times - so we know it had to be pretty bad to wake up daddy - hehe! The doctor said it sounded like a bad cough, but that it had not gone into his lungs - good news - and to keep him on a cough medicine so he could at least get some sleep. Kegan also was on steroids for 3 days to help strengthen his throat muscles (although when he is crying I can promise you those things are PLENTY strong) so he could cough with out having to grasp for air.
One good thing about having to go to the doctor, Kegan and I got to leave a little earlier to go to Houston. I had a good friend from college who was getting married. (Congratulations Katy!) It took up about 4 hours to get there and he slept the entire time. That was nice - it certainly makes things easier like that when you are traveling by yourself. We got to Wendy, Nolan, and Karsyn's house where they and my parents were. It was great to get to see them! Kegan spent the evening with them while I went to the rehearsal dinner. The next day I left early that morning to head to the wedding while mom and dad were in charge of dressing both babies (Wendy and Nolan went on a vacation) and getting them to the wedding. They did great - mom did mention to Stephani though, to not have twins! The kids were great during the ceremony. Kegan was awake the entire time just sitting in his car seat and looking around at everything. He did not make one sound - my respectful little man!!! We were off to the reception after that where he turned on the charm - him and Karsyn both. By the end of the reception Kegan smelled like the combination of a lot of ladies perfume (and a little spit up). He was great while being passed around and share lots of smiles! :)
After the wedding mom and I took the kids to get their pictures taken. (See below) Don't they look just adorable!!! The photographer kept commenting on how cute they were and how great they were for the camera. Could it be that these poor kids are just that used to having a camera in thier face, flahing at them!?!?

I love this picture of the kids. It looks like Karsyn is just about to crack up at whatever Kegan is saying.
On Sunday, my Meme and Poppa came over to see the kids (no longer do they come to see us). It has been an amazing thing to watch my own grandparents interact with my child. What a blessing! When they are around Karsyn and Kegan you would never guess them to be in their eighties. They love those babies and will tell anyone who will listen. :)
If you notice the cushion missing in the picture below it is becuase Kegan spit up all over it and it was being cleaned. Either way, I thought it was a sweet picture of my grandparents holding 2 of their great grandchildren.
We also learned on Sunday that Kegan and Karsyn enjoy talking (loudly) to one another. During lunch Kegan was under a play gym and Karsyn was playing with some toys in her walker and they just "blah blah blah..." for the entire time we ate...as happy as could be. It was the cutest things to listen to! It was a great weekend!
