sweetest prayers

Nothing is sweeter than the most inocent prayer from a child.

We accidently left Kegan's blanki, puppy and pillow in Plano (ahh!) on Monday. I immediatly called my parents, upon realizing this and all 3 were in the mail by Tuesday morning. However, in the mean time, Kegan was with out. He did good, I just explained to him I forgot to get it and that they would be mailed down here to us in a few days. Well, since that first night with out them Kegan has said a prayer something like this:

Dear Lord, Thank you for today and thank you for my (then he goes through differnt family members. And Lord, please help puppy, blankie and my pillow to get here. Amen.

Oh...so sweet, and so sincere. He did this all on his own; I was sitting there just listening and praying with him and he asked the Lord his request.

Anyways, as a parent it thrills my heart that he already sees that God is who he can turn to when he is troubled and that he is presistent in those prayers (4 nights he prayed this).

ps - the items came in the mail today - woo-hoo...prayer answered!
:)
