Happy...late...Valentines Day

It has been a while...a long while...and in honor of Valentine's Day I put together some (well, alot) of pictures of what Kegan LOVED doing the past 2 weeks. Due to the amount of time since the last post...pictures and small captions will be all shown first, then I will give a brief summary update, at the very end.

Tuesday - 2-5-08
Kegan loves playing in the park...and giving "the eyebrow"

Kegan loves climbing the steps at the playground...mom loves to keep a close eye on him at this time.

Wednesday: 2-6-08
One of Kegan's absolute favoirtes - riding on the tractor.

Thursday: 2-7-08
Drawing pictures with his new crayons on his art table. He also enjoys trying to chew on his crayons...very colorful teeth!



Friday: 2-8-08
Once again, Kegan loves the tractor and going out to the farm...and trying to climb the steps on the tractor.

Saturday: 2-9-08
After a fun afternoon of going to Shannon's baby shower and running arrends with Grandma, Aunt Stephani, and mommy...and getting a little messy with Grandma's drink...Kegan loves just hanging out in his diaper...and his shoes and socks.

It's a good way to fall asleep, too...

However, once we get home and see dad...we are WIDE awake since we got in a little nap...

Valentine's Week:
Sunday: 2-10-08
After church Kegan and Mommy headed to a double birthday party for two of Kegan's friends.
Enjoying some food...yummy!

Monday: 2-11-08
Kegan loves seeing his friends every Monday at storytime at the library!


Tuesday: 2-12-08
Kegan loves giving LOTS of looks!

Lifting mommy's weights...glad they are getting some use...haha...

Kegan LOVED that he got to go play with his friend Cason all afternonn while our car was getting an oil change. He absolutly LOVED playing around in all the balls...as if the pictures don't tell you that...haha...




Thursday: 2-14-08 HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
(Notice the shirt...A heart cowboy lassoing the words "I stole mommy's heart"...that he certainly has!!! How couls he not with a face as cute as this....)

I thought this was a cute pose...and I love it!

After him and daddy took me out to lunch he took a great nap and then we went to get a hair cut. Kegan was really loving his thirday hair-cut. He LOVED the grape flavored sucker he got after the haircute even more! It was like a big fish pulling on the end of your live...that is how hard he was sucking on the sucker while I was holding the stick for him.

Kegan loves to go visit Grandma and Grandpa. His mouth is shut becuase he is making a "mmmmm" sound for the sound the little cow makes...so cute to hear him!

Kegan still loves getting gifts and getting to open them!

Kegan loves boxes...especially if they have cookies inside!!!

Yummy! He would not take his hand out of that box for a long time! He even tried to walk around the table while keeping his hand in the box...with the cookies!

Friday: 2-15-08
Kegan loves playing in the water! (He did not so much love the doctors visit and shots later on that morning.)


Saturday: 2-16-08
We all got up very early and headed up to San Antonio took look around and to go to the rodeo finals that night.
Kegan LOVED looking at...and riding on the old restored tractors! He saw them and started getting very excited and saying "traca"...his word for tractor.

Kegan did great and loved the 3 1/2 to 4 hour nap he took cuddled in his daddy's jacket, while walking around all the exhibits.

Loving the view from inside the at&t center, where the rodeo was...oh yes, he also LOVES this green blanket!

He did great and stayed awake for the entire rodio...which lasted till 10:00 pm! He really liked looking at the horses and cows...what a place to be...the arena was full of those...haha!

Monday: 2-18-08

Kegan, once again, loving time out on the farm.

He also still loves to eat dirt...YUCK!

Kegan is finally as of the middle of last week, stating to like to walk more...further distances...more often...all over the place....everywhere..... Well, with this new enjoyment in walking came his first bad fall...and worst injury so far in his 15mths. He was walking outside, at church, Sunday night and fell on the concrete. He scraped his nose a little and under his nose quite a bit. I felt horrible becuase I did not think it was too, bad (he falls often) till I saw the blood...poor baby was not happy.

Finally...but these pictures certainly did not show all the Kegan loved...just a few things...but he does indeed love to feed his belly...specifially fruits and breads...

I had opened the door to get out some stuff for dinner and he decided to climb in when I turned away...(Oh yes...he also learned today that he was capable of opening the door to the freezer...which he did, multiple times)

Brief update:

*Walking: As I said - more steady, often, places...

*Talking: Has said baby (there was one in the church nursary) and bye...not consistent, but has said each a few times. Learned "rock" and has kept it up after one of the days out at the farm.

*15 mth. update from the doctor: Looking good and healthy. 23 pounds 13 ounces; 32 inces long, developmentally on track.
