Let us start with a laugh...so Kegan probably should have gotten in trouble for doing this...but, I could not keep from laughing...discipline out the window I guess!?!
I was cooking dinner - Kegan had been in my room playing nicely, so I thought! and out he came clapping and so proud of himself. Hi hands...part of his shirt...and his jeans - COVERED IN LOTION!!! As I lifted him on the counter to, well first take a picture and gather my laughter, and then clean him up, he proceeded to try and rub lotion on his "legs" some more...haha...oh man, boys boys boys! Haha...
Wednesday night after youth Kegan decided it was time for him to rock out on the drums...hmm...we will not be getting a drum set any time soon - he liked them a little too much and they were a little too loud! (Matthew is just scratching his head, but I think it is funny because it looks like he is holding his head like it hurts!)
Thursday: Party Day!
Sorry...turn your head. My little farmer dressed up (handsome!). He did not want to put on his tool belt...but he sure liked playing with the tools!
Kegan's class friends eating snacks!
Yummy cookie face!
What??? Me???? Too many snacks??? NO!
Party #2: Chat 'n Play Costume Party...and more treats!
Patric pushing Kegan...weee!
Sliding...notice, no tool belt and the shirt is out...it is a farmer at the end of the day...tools all used and shirt out b/c he has been so busy working...err...playing!

Friday:
Using his tools to "fix" the knob on the drawer!...it was so cute, after using the screw driver and went and tried out the pliers to see how they would work.

Friday - outfit number 2. Why? Kegan decided it was fun to spit water out all over himself...hmmm.... Once again...boys! Oh...my hands are going to be full!...fuller in a few months!
Kegan did have a reason to get cute again - we got to go have lunch with Gramma and Aunt Stephani!
Trying to get into Gramma's desk. He is pretty good at matching the key into the key hole. That takes a lot of hand-eye coordination...and nimble fingers. It makes a mom proud!
Gramma then gave Kegan a tape measure. He loved walking down the hall with it (Aunt Stephani holding the other end) and then letting the tape go and watching is woosh back into the "holder"....
Kegan watching the tape curl back up...such joy out of the simple pleasures!

After lunch, tape measure playing, and climbing on all the tractors he could get to...seriously...we headed out to take Matthew his truck. Kegan was determined to stay with daddy - as soon as we drove up, he looked at me and said, "Bye Mommy!"...and was ready to go!
One last shot...a "typical" boy picture if I have ever seen one.
What a month this is going to be. First, I see how much my little man is still growing daily and how much he is learning...it amazes me! I can't wait to see what November has in store for him!!! Second, Kegan will be turning 2...my first baby...turning 2. The time has flown by...too fast at times.
Baby Update:
Sooo...Sunday I was told by 3 or so people that I was really "looking pregnant" or that there was no doubt that I was pregnant anymore. I guess this means I am really starting to show a lot more! haha...

I love the picture of Matthew and Kegan - looking like a little man more and more everyday! We can't wait to see you all in a few weeks!
Don't think I've seen a carpenter wearing green cowboy boots before. How cute!
